Salary on Exp - $55 - $63 per hr + Super

As a Project Manager you will be involved in project managing minor works and/or involvement in the management of maintenance contractor activities. Strong experience in managing the delivery of a project(s) or a range of project activities so that the projects and project components meet time, cost, quality, value, environmental and OHS&R requirements.

Basic requirements of this role include (but not limited to) the following substantial skills and experience:
Must have project and contract management experience skills (in construction industry) Experience in quantity surveying, estimating and assessment of major contract variations, ideally within educational facilities Strong ability and experience in preparing project scope and estimates Strong contractor/consultant management skills including formal discussions with contractors regarding variations Experience in developing and administering project/construction documentation Excellent client service and client liaison skills Good communication (including verbal and written including preparation of client reports) & negotiation skills Strong budgeting, job cost control Leadership, management and supervision skills Proven ability to work in a team environment and work independently when required Substantial experience in project/construction management. This should include strong experience in job cost control, quantity surveying, estimating/contract & consultant management. Candidates should be prepared to present at interview details of their project and variation estimation experience. Referees will be required. Qualifications Appropriate
Trade and post-trade qualifications or Degree and/or equivalent relevant experience in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or Building/Construction.

Other Skills
Computer literate with basic skills in Word, Excel, use of email and ability to use Project Management (e.g. MS-Project) systems/software.

Must have a
Current class ‘C’ Australian drivers licence Current WorkCover NSW recognised Induction ‘White’ card (previously Green) Working Location
Positions will be initially located at the Baulkham Hills office, however Sydney Region has a number of offices and site locations which the selected candidate could be required to work from or be located at during the period of engagement.

Hours Flexible during times 7am to 6pm – 7 hours/day - to be arranged and agreed with allocated Supervisor
This is an immediate need.
