Think Purpose
The Sourcing and Contracts Management Specialist is accountable for delivering the key KPI outcomes. In addition you will be responsible for total cost of ownership reduction, delivery of materials and services in full, identifying and implementing opportunities to save on supply expenditure through innovative sourcing strategies and continuous contract process improvement for NiW. Supplier management, specifically performance management, facilitating and coordinating sound contractor management principles including safety and audit compliance. Developing and implementing strategies to achieve greater contract coverage and contract reduction through consolidation.
Think Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have a background in commercial or contracting management, you must have a full understanding of contracting strategies, evaluating supplier economics, assessing market dynamics and supplier segmentation. Ideally but not essential you will have a tertiary qualification an exposure to SOX, commercial and contract law, procure to pay processes, coding and master data management. You will enjoy working in a small team, working to deadlines and liaising with contacts on site. The successful applicant must be available for travel to our Nickel West sites and occasionally Australia wide. An A Class Drivers Licence is also a requirement.
