The purpose of this role is to be Responsible for the Production Process and the achievement of optimum production output through effective supervision and control.

You will be responsible for the Supervision of operators in the production unit by monitoring all activities and providing guidance on production and process issues. You shall be responsible to plan and prioritise production within the department. You must be capable to coach, mentor and develop the production team by assessing / identifying training needs, and undertaking activities / tasks related to the Human Resources function by maintaining discipline and time & attendance records of operators. You shall be expected to attend meetings as required in the execution of your role which shall include but not limited to production and safety meetings.

You shall be expected to uphold BHPBillition and Mozal quest for zero harm by managing and controlling HSEC related activities in your section and participate in all HSEC related activities run by the department and Mozal

Ideally you will have an Engineering / Technical qualification (minimum 3 years), be computer literate with 3 years experience in a heavy industrial environment.
