As a member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will manage the Logistics & Infrastructure Department, who are responsible for providing goods and services critical to the EKATI Diamond Mine’s ability to operate. Areas included in this portfolio are Warehousing, Camp Services, Aviation, Logistics, and the Winter Road.
As the successful candidate you will have 10-15+ years experience in the mining industry, preferably within underground, open pit and remote site environments. Post graduate qualifications and leadership experience of a multi-disciplinary team will be essential for success in this role. You will be involved in setting the long term strategic vision for the business and therefore you will have experience in strategic planning, with a proven record of excellence. You will have an understanding of environmental regulatory issues, compliance programs and community aspects of mining operations, combined have 5-10 years supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal cultures of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut will be highly regarded.

The EKATI Diamond Mine is located 300 kilometers northeast of Yellowknife and is accessible only by plane. Work rotation schedules may be modified, and work-related travel may be required on short notice.
