We have registered a senior executive position within an established mining and exploration company and require applications from suitably experienced Resident and/or General Managers.

The company is an existing producer and has a clear focus on further developing their gold/base metal portfolio. The current opportunity will be based at their 'flagship' mine and will take responsibility for all site activities, including regional exploration and mine expansions. You will work closely with the Board regarding strategic opportunities and will be expected to ensure that production activities continue to meet budgets.

The role will suit those offering proven experience in management positions, including complex underground deposits. Having gained significant experience in a variety of mining engineering positions, you will have since moved into Site Manager/Resident Manager or General Manager role.

The main duties associated with this position will be:

The management of on-site personnel and ensuring that mining activities comply with all statutory regulations
Management reporting and monitoring of relevant operational/financial reports
Reporting to Board and presentations to key stakeholders
Identifying and recommending strategic opportunities
Overseeing all contract negotiations with external suppliers
The position will require a strong hands-on involvement with daily site activities and recent experience with underground mining environments will be essential. You will ideally hold a WA First Class Ticket and have proven experience in a Resident Manager position.

The position is being offered on a residential basis and full relocation assistance will be provided. A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated based on this will be based on the experience offered.
