Construction Manager - Pipeline

Our client is currently recruiting for a large pipeline project and requires the services of an experienced Construction Manager. In this role you will report directly to the Project Manager and liaise with engineering and construction staff and be responsible for the management of all pipeline construction activities for this project.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Promote job safety and environmental awareness at all times
* Ensure that environmentally acceptable working methods are implemented at all times
* Organise and coordinate construction activities in accordance with construction schedules
* Ensure all activities relating to quality are performed in compliance with the relevant specifications, codes and standards
* Select subcontractors and suppliers

To be considered for this role you will have the following qualifications and skills:

* Industry relevant tertiary qualifications
* Minimum 8 years engineering experience in construction with minimum 2 years exposure in leadership position
* Competent in understanding and promoting HS&E and IMS procedures
* Proven record in planning, organising and leading a diverse labour force
* Sound negotiation and problem solving skills, clear communication verbal and written
