Due to continual growth and with a number of multi-million dollar projects in-hand and in the pipeline, this engineering giant seeks an experienced Rail professional to bolster their established Rail business unit and assist in them delivering over $200m worth of projects by 2010.

With an aggressive expansion plan across the whole business within their Perth office, backed up by recent success by winning a number of key projects, this employer of choice is bucking the trend by increasing head-count and complimenting their in-house expertise - in particular - with the newly formed position of Rail Operations Manager.

Reporting to the Branch General Manager this pivotal senior management role will test your superior business acumen within an Australian Rail contracting environment and your track record, understanding of the Australian Rail Market and subsequent key players.

You will be able to draw on your successful project delivery experience & management of large teams as well as your extensive networks within the state and national Rail contracting arena. An ability to comprehensively align yourself with Joint Venture or Alliance upper management will be highly desired as well as the supervision of all internal and external relationships that will be integral to the ongoing growth of this respected business unit.

Possessing at least 10 years experience in Rail track maintenance and/or construction and with a tertiary qualification in Civil engineering will be a minimum requirement as will extensive
Project / Contract Management & Contract Administration experience.
