Site Manager required for a UK quarry, to identify and implement improvements at each site, which add value to business performance and share best practice solutions across the area and business. A diploma or degree in H&S required for this position.
The Site Manager will be responsible for leading SHE improvement projects, establish best practice and implement across sites in area, ensure compliance with company and statutory safety regulations.
A further aspect of the role will be identifying opportunities which will affect business performance, taking prompt actions to manage these effectively and in co-operation with the Team Leaders, Operations Manager & Operations Director, generate longer-term development plans for Safety, Manpower, Process Improvement, Infrastructure Maintenance and Asset Refurbishment / Replacement.
Overall monitoring of equipment condition and performance, and management of operations and maintenance plans and activities to ensure ongoing capability to produce at required performance, making arrangements for spares, contractors availability, establishing the most cost effective means of maintenance and planning of maintenance work, within budgetary restraints.
