Civil Construction Manager

About the Job

This contractor operates throughout Australia and Asia and has delivered some landmark projects over the last 10 years. Due to further growth within their business they require the services of a Civil Construction Manager to join their organisation and help assist in their future success in NSW.

The Role

As Regional Construction Manager you will oversee construction work on a number of projects with values between $50 - 200 million. You will be based in Sydney but be expected to travel between projects as and when required to provide engineering support and brief senior members of project staff.

You will need to have a tertiary qualification in civil engineering and have previous experience running large construction projects as a senior project manager or construction manager. Applications will be strongly favoured if you have had an exposure to a range of civil projects including water, roads and marine.

You will also be expected to:

Manage and control finances
Provide technical support to staff
Assist in commercial matters
Provide assistance to senior managers in business development
Support with tenders on new projects
Enhance business exposure through contacts and clients.
