BMA Broadmeadow Mine is a punch Longwall underground coal mine located 190 kilometres South West of Mackay (Moranbah) and the Whitsunday coast. Drawing on a large coal reserve, Broadmeadow Mine will produce 4.6 mtpa of high quality coking coal. At Broadmeadow our core value is to achieve Zero Harm and world class performance which will further enhance BMA’s competitiveness in the international coking coal market.

BMA Broadmeadow Mine is seeking applications from experienced Administration Assistants to fill various administration roles within the mine.

These roles will be a challenging and are suited to enthusiastic and organised self starters.

Key attributes and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* A proactive approach to work load
* Commitment to internal and external customers
* A high level of integrity and professionalism
* Ability to work within a team environment and without supervision
* Ability to prioritise and determine goals for multiple projects and tasks
* Preparation of formal presentations and reports
* Organising meetings, conferences, travel and community events

Essential technical competencies are:

* Proven advanced administration skills.
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the use of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, MS Publisher, MS Project, and MS Outlook
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Well developed interpersonal and organisational skills

* Experience using any or all of the following software would be advantageous; Minesuite, SAP, Fpe, MIC, and Hummingbird.
