The Project Development Group (PDG) is tasked with becoming a Centre of Excellence for the delivery of significant and sustaining capital projects within BMA. The Project Development Group provides project delivery services to BMA through the management of all phases of the investment life cycle.
We are currently seeking an experienced Area Manager - Onshore, focusing on one of our significant Port Related Growth Projects. Reporting to the Project Director, the successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating all onshore project activities including design, contracts and procurement, cost and schedule, construction and commissioning.
Focusing on onshore project elements, you will assist in the interpretation and development of requirements for successful toll gating processes and project completion. You will further manage consultants and equipment suppliers, providing project deliverables that meet scope, budget, schedule and quality requirements.
With extensive area management experience, the successful applicant will have worked on multiple large scale mine / port construction projects, having been involved in the entire process from feasibility through to execution. Degree qualified, you will have demonstrated working knowledge of owners’ team / client based project management, having previously overseen EPCM contractors and third party service providers.
