Our client is one of the largest specialised railway engineering and project management companies. Due to continued progression, they are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to join their vibrant team in moving forward.

As the QA Manager, you will oversee the Quality Assurance function on the project site to ensure the project activities meet contractual requirements from an overall systems and risk management perspective.

Reporting to the Construction Manager on a site-based FIFO role, your duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Maintaining and implementing a site QA audit schedule to ensure all site activities follow project and company procedures and methodologies.
Ensure continuous improvement factors from lessons learned on the project are captured and addressed in the project management systems.
Manage corrective actions resolution and implement changes arising from audits.
Ensure audits (external) of Contractors are carried out as appropriate to ensure compliance with Contract requirements.

To be considered fort this role, the successful candidate MUST have:

6 + years experience within a site base QA role with broad experience across multi discipline engineering within the resources sector (structural, mechanical, piping, etc)
Mature understanding of construction processes and a clear understanding of what is important and what is not.
Formal training in quality assurance, business improvement, continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience in project execution in the resource or engineering industries.
Relevant tertiary qualifications
