Major Electrical Distribution Upgrade Project Leading Energy Utility Melbourne based three year project
This highly regarded organisation is seeking the services of an experienced Site Manager with a strong HSE focus to oversee the construction of major projects on site to meet client requirements as measured by time, quality and cost and the management of a team of construction employees including contractors

Reporting to the Project Manager – Major Projects your duties will include; but are not limited to:

The supervision and control of High Voltage cabling, building works, electrical construct, fitout, testing and commissioning of Zone SubstationsResponsible for construction activity planning, scheduling and progress reporting in-line with Project Management expectations.The on-site management of key personnel to ensure the success of projects and resolution of construction issues.Risk Management associated with variations and significant rime, quality and cost issues.Ensuring compliance, budgets and plans are met on projectsStrong OH & S focus to ensure H & S targets are met.
To be considered for this role you should have the following:

A sound knowledge of electricity distribution, sub-transmission and Primary/Secondary electrical works in an electricity distribution industry.A demonstrated knowledge of construction methodology and integration into project planning and management in particular within the Victorian construction industry.Demonstrated leadership experience within the Electrical distribution construction fieldA commitment to OH&S principals.Project Management skills/training advantageous.
