An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join the Hunter Valley Energy Coal team. Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for supporting the HR team in the implementation and delivery of HR Services solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

* Accountability for site payroll functions including processing HRS forms, payroll queries and escalations
* Responsibility for accurate HR reporting including payroll, ABS and FBT
* Ensure the smooth transition of remaining HRS Standardisation processes
* Processing of HR e-Forms
* Proactively managing data integrity and ensuring reliable accuracy of information in GSAP
* Ensure the integrity of data & processing of core HR activities such as Performance Enhancement Process (PEP), Compensation Management (ECM) and Talent Management
* Undertake checking of data integrity and to ensure reliable reporting is provided
* Providing timely and accurate administrative HR support
* Contributing to ad hoc HR Projects

Specifically, you will focus your efforts on ensuring that the input and verification of all employee related data is completed in a timely and effective manner. You will demonstrate your proactive nature by striving to achieve a culture of excellence within the HR team.

Skills & Experience

We require a customer focussed individual who is extremely competent with the use of a payroll/HRIS system (SAP experience will be highly regarded). You will possess advanced skills related to information systems and it is essential that you demonstrate strong attention to detail, coupled with a demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality when dealing with confidential and sensitive data.

Prior experience in working with ‘people’ related data is essential, as is excellent communication skills and a proven commitment to quality customer service. Working within a large and complex organisation is considered an advantage. Demonstrated experience as a ‘team player’ is essential in achieving success in this role.
