Supply Officer

Situated near Muswellbrook in the picturesque Upper Hunter Valley, the Mt Arthur Coal mine is an open cut thermal coal operation that is currently expanding to produce 20 million tonnes annually.

We currently seek a details-oriented individual with an over-riding commitment to safety to join our Supply Department to work on a 12 hour shift roster. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Warehouse duties in the areas of data processing physical issuing, receiving incoming goods, storage and distribution, including goods manual handling and forklift operation;
* Stocktaking of inventory items and reconciliation of stock checks and discrepancies;
* Control tool store movements and inspect, replenish and monitor all tool store activities;
* Send goods away for urgent repair in emergency situations; and
* To provide back-up support to the Supply Team in purchasing and inventory functions.

Skills and Experience

Applicants will need to be able to clearly demonstrate that they have experience in warehouse operations and demonstrate a commitment to safe work practices. Experience in SAP and inventory management would be viewed favourably. Tertiary qualifications in Supply Management would be desirable, however candidates with substantial warehouse operational experience are encouraged to apply.
