Accounts Payable Officer (Fixed Term – 6 months)

BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina is the joint venture operation of BHP Billiton, Japan Alumina Associates and Sojitz Alumina. As a member of the world’s largest diversified resources company, Worsley manages a bauxite mine and alumina refinery in Western Australia’s South West and offers candidates an enviable choice of lifestyle, based in the state’s picturesque South West.

We are looking for someone to join the Financial Accounting Team as an Accounts Payable Officer who will be responsible for:

• Processing of vendor tax invoices

• Payment and reconciliation of vendor accounts in line with contractual terms and company policies

• Excellent communication skills, strong customer focus and a high level of problem solving expertise

Ideally, you will have extensive experience in accounts payable administration and be able to demonstrate sound computing skills. This is a demanding and challenging position which requires achieving regular deadlines. Exposure to SAP computer applications will be well regarded.
