BHP Billiton Worsley Alumina is the joint venture operation of BHP Billiton, Japan Alumina Associates and Sojitz Alumina. As a member of the world’s largest diversified resources company, Worsley manages a bauxite mine and alumina refinery in Western Australia’s South West and offers candidates an enviable choice of lifestyle, based in the state’s picturesque South West.

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join our Engineering and Technology Department in the key role of Information Coordinator. The primary objectives of this position are to plan and manage the delivery of Records Management, Document Management and Library Services to satisfy Worsley Alumina’s business needs. You will be the single point of contact for key people within the organisation and work with groups to develop and improve their documentation requirements. In addition you will be involved in the development and implementation of information management business controls along with recommending improvements to document management and practices.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have qualifications in Information Management / Records Management or related discipline along with proven experience working in a similar role. You will have a strong understanding of cross business information management needs, associated business processes, information products, media types and an appreciation of the capabilities and limitations of Information Management technologies and processes. Additionally you will have demonstrated experience in the provision of training and support services together with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
