Project Manager - Wind Farm Development

My client is an International Energy corporation with offices in Africa, North, Central and South America as well as having an expanding presence within the Asian and Australasia region. Due to the continued growth of their project pipeline, my client is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their Development team.

With the position reporting directly to the Engineering Manager initially on a 12 month contract with the potential for extension, you will be tasked with taking an active role in several critical Wind projects as well as:

* Developing and maintain key stakeholder relationships with land-holders, community associations and key industry contacts;
* Project Managing several projects from design through construction phase;
* Liaising with the MD and Executive team to provide project briefs;
* Acting as the first point of contact for all site queries; and
* Managing reporting and documentation procedures in line with internal systems and procedures.

Working within a small and talented team, the successful candidate will become a critical member of the business unit and will allow you to add significant value within the local wind market. That being said, the position will allow you to further develop your already advanced Project Management skills, Inter-personal skills as well as your already advanced negotiating and commercial acumen.

Ideally you will have between 2 and 5 years development experience within the Renewable markets or a similar field. Given the nature of this position, continuous training and development will be provided for the successful candidate who may not have the required Wind Experience.
