Position Overview:
The newly created position of Maintenance Improvement Analyst provides training, facilitation, guidance and support to sites in the use of Barrick’s maintenance business processes and systems to enable sites to effectively and efficiently use these tools in monitoring, managing and improving their maintenance work.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
• Regional training and facilitation for maintenance business processes and systems, ensuring best for business, supporting sites in achieving targeted maintenance performance in the areas of safety, cost, quality and maintenance value add
• Facilitate the development of site improvement plans to improve maintenance business process compliance
• Use RACI or similar to assist in aligning people with functions and maintenance processes
• Participate in regional review panel for maintenance processes inclusive of key site personnel
• Assist in project preparedness for system implementations in the areas of Master Data, Business Process and Maintenance Culture
• Facilitate business process gap analysis workshops
• Report on the current status of all maintenance systems and processes per site
• Lead a collaborative continuous improvement approach to ongoing development of regional maintenance processes
Experience & Requirements:
• Trade background combined with tertiary qualifications in Maintenance Management (or similar discipline)
• At least 5 years experience gained in a Mining/Industrial maintenance environment
• Experience working as part of a business improvement team
• Demonstrated knowledge in maintenance work flow and work type management
• Preventative and predictive maintenance experience
• Maintenance ERP Systems experience
• Facilitation, training and change management focus
