This is a prime opportunity to take the helm of a well established and growing switchboard manufacturing business. This business is part of a dynamic and successful group of companies that includes electrical and construction contracting organizations; currently 70% of business is sourced from these. With extensive support from the parent company there is currently a drive to increase the status, external client base and profitability of this cost centre. The successful applicant will be well remunerated as well as having share options down the track.

Based at Acacia Ridge and reporting to the overall General Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of Business Management including: 

• Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the external client base
• Negotiating, nurturing and streamlining existing supplier relationships
• Establishing and developing strong client relationships
• Staff management including administration, estimating, design and project teams
• Design and drafting of standard and customised switchboards
• Creating market awareness of the company
• Meeting sales targets and increasing gross and net profit 

To be successful applicants will need to have experience in the switchboard manufacturing industry and a solid understanding of design and construction. You will also need to have financial management capabilities and superior people, organizational and communication skills. Ideally the applicants will be trade or tertiary qualified and currently occupying a similar role in the industry.
