A new operation needs an experienced Chief Geologist to assist in the development of ore control systems for a new copper - gold open pit operation. The mine was build in 2006 - 2007 with the first copper/gold poured in late 2007 and has a long life - over 15 years.
This position can be a residential or fly in/fly out position.
Other duties include reconcilation, training local Kazakh geologists, block modeling, reserve estimation, near mine exploration, etc.
This is am exciting postion for a low cost producer.
Russian, Eastern Europe, or Kazakhstan experience prefered.
