Our Client is one of the world’s largest and lowest cost copper and gold producers. They have an opportunity in Indonesia for a Superintendent Expansion Projects, to provide technical assistance and support to the Underground Mines Engineering Group in areas relating to expansion of the Underground Mines, and to provide Training and Technology Transfer to National Staff.
Key Duties include:
* Assist and advise in the development of comprehensive models of the Underground Expansion to examine requirements for manpower, training, equipment, and support facilities, and to develop plan to replace on-site mining contractors.
* Help generate realistic schedule and sequence plans to bring all future deposits on line.
* When required, support the Manager of Engineering (Underground) and engineering departments during preparation of quarterly Forecasts, Budgets, and integration of mine plans into Long Range Expansion plans.
* Assist Underground Mines Engineering Group, as required, on special projects
* Liaise with Underground Engineering Department, 3rd Party consultants, and others to support preparation of Feasibility Studies, Technical Studies, Schedules, Plans, and other technical studies.
* Monitor performance of the CIP projects and other expansion projects as requested.
* Provide training/transfer of technology to National staff.
To be successful in this role you should have the following qualifications:
* BSc Mining Engineering;
* 10 years experience in underground mining, construction, engineering and operations; and
* Extensive mine/engineering knowledge.
