We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Fitter, who is a genuinely versatile individual; capable of working within a dedicated group of local and expatriate workers, maintaining a variety earthmoving and mining equipment. Working within the independent Republic of Nauru, our client is entrusted with the rehabilitation of the land formerly mined for the world's purest super phosphate. Parallel to the rehabilitation process, our client is responsible for all bulk earthworks to take advantage of a rich secondary deposit of super phosphate. Your role will involve the maintenance and support of a variety of mobile and fixed equipment, and the assistance of an expatriate labour force to develop a local skills base. Are you? A formally qualified heavy equipment fitter. Experienced in the maintenance of mobile and fixed equipment. Able to work in remote areas. An effective communicator with the ability to integrate into other cultures. This position is offered as a residential status with return flights to the point of hire include.
