Pogo Mine
Teck-Pogo is recruiting for an Electrical-Mill Maintenance Planner to work at the remote Pogo Mine located near Fairbanks, Alaska. The NEW 2500 t/d mill uses SAG/ball mill grinding, gravity recovery, flotation, and leaching/CIP to recover 350,000-400,000 ounces of gold bullion per year.
Duties:
Establish equipment repair priorities and preventative maintenance schedules
With supervisor, review work order backlog, establish daily, weekly and monthly work schedules, establish efficient equipment PM’s and establish/monitor spare parts usage
Experience using JDEdwards to monitor accuracy or equipment and component records
Assist in establishing programs such as NDT, vibration and system analyzing to help improve equipment availability and equipment tire tracking.
Requires:
4 to 8 years experience in mechanical or electrical planning or related field
Practical experience with Microsoft software and MS Project
Experience with JDEdwards programs
Prefer technical knowledge or Electrical and Fixed Plant equipment.
Pogo is a camp job with transportation provided from Fairbanks, Delta Junction, or Tok, Alaska. Work rotation is two weeks on and one week off, or four weeks on and two weeks off. At Pogo, all rooms have phone, internet and cable tv connections. The camp has a game room with pool tables; an exercise room; a weight room and a sauna. The successful candidate must pass a post-offer physical and drug test.
