My client has approximately 2 million ounces of overall resource within their project and is able to process over a million ounces annually at their process plant. Currently they are searching for an experienced drill and blast production engineer to drive efficiencies on their open pit mine through planning, scheduling and drill & blast designs.
Reporting to the Mine Superintendent, you would need to possess:
A tertiary mining engineering qualification. An unrestricted quarry managers certificate or 1st Class Mine Manager's ticket is essential. Open pit mine planning, scheduling and design experience. Experience in Life of mine scheduling and costing. Surpac exposure and a strong proficiency in MS Office. Strong communication skills, written and verbal are essential to the client as well as someone who shows good leadership potential. You will be well remunerated, commensurate with your experience and the campsite is excellent; includes a full gym and tennis court, a wet mess with ATM on site, free wireless Internet, swimming pool, entertainment room and a social club.
