MAINTENANCE ENGINEER ON, Canada
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Stock Gold Complex, Timmins. Reporting to the Mine Manager, this professional will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical infrastructure of the Stock Gold Complex - overseeing the preventive and predictive maintenance efforts to ensure that our mines and mill meet operating, cost and availability targets.
Minimum BSc Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 7 years of progressive “hands-on” professional maintenance engineering experience up to senior level in the mining industry – for mine operations as well as mills. A specific requirement is experience in supervising and maintaining mine hoisting equipment.
Registered (or eligible for registration) with Professional Engineers Ontario.
Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
The capability to work positively with a team of professional and technical people in a changing, creative and energetic environment.
Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Word and Excel (advanced) are essential. Previous experience with maintenance systems and costing software would also be beneficial.
