About Liberty International:
Liberty is a Canadian based exploration company primarily involved in the acquisition and exploration of potentially mineable deposits of gold and diamonds. Liberty collectively holds license to 9,050 km2 of territory and 20 current gold exploration projects in Liberia West Africa. In addition, Liberty collectively holds direct mineral tenures and/or mining option agreements covering more than 12,500 km2 of territory and 12 current projects in the West Kootenays making it reportedly the largest current holder of tenure in the province of B.C.
Duties & Qualifications:
• Participate in the target selection and hiring of professionals and technicians.
• Provide objectives, training, evaluate performance, and develop a technically competent and credible team to accomplish site and corporate objectives.
• Duties may include budget preparation and submittal, cost tracking, completing projects on budget within planned time frames, and achieve performance measures.
• Responsible for the evaluation of exploration development, and acquisition opportunities in a significant area of exploration activity on a major project.
• Expected to be a fully participating technical geologist in addition to any managerial or supervisory responsibilities including geologic mapping, drill core or chip logging, drill hole planning, drill program execution, computer deposit modeling, hydrologic and metallurgical investigations, etc.
• Coordinate and implement field programs including mapping, trenching, geophysical surveys, drilling and monitor QA/QC project results.
• Prepare assessment reports as required to keep properties in good standing.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office software, GIS software, and MapInfo.
