They are also a recognised industry leader in health, safety, community and environmental management.

They are seeking an experienced Environmental/Quality Assurance Coordinator to work on a Transmission Line project based within the Mackay Region. To be considered for this role you will be degree qualified in either Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Environmental Science or an equivalent approved tertiary qualification.

Duties will include:-

Delivering environmental training and inductions

Coordinating inspections on subcontractor's plant and equipment

Recording, investigating and reporting environmental complaints for the project

Coaching and mentor graduates

Ensure regular project environmental risk assessment is undertaken and documented.

Ensure that processes are in place to avoid environmental penalties from regulatory authorities

You ideally will have a construction, civil or mining background and previous experience with transmission lines will be highly regarded. Successful candidates will be offered full accommodation, food, laptop and rewarded with a generous salary including site allowances.
