Mill Maintenance Foreman BC, Canada
This position will report to the Mill Maintenance General Foreman. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Mill Maintenance Foreman or Leadhand in a copper/ gold processing plant. Previous experience on SAG and Ball mills, flotation, dewatering and crushing circuits as well as knowledge of large slurry pumping operation is preferred. The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
Post secondary education and/or BC Trades Qualifications is preferred
Highly organized with an ability to work under pressure
Computer literate with experience using maintenance systems (Maximo preferred)
Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work in a unionized environment
Proven ability to plan, organize and multi task maintenance jobs safely within budget
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently
This position will work a two-week in and two-week out work schedule.
