Infrastructure is an expanding business unit involved in the provision of infrastructure design and construction services in the areas of transportation, marine works, remote site support facilities, tailings storage facilities, and geotechnical engineering. Our client has significant experience and expertise in all aspects of civil design for clients with major projects in Australia, Asia, Africa, Russia and South America. Project work includes design of major construction accommodation facilities and process plant infrastructure involving buildings, earthworks, drainage, sewage disposal and other utilities.
Infrastructure is seeking a suitably qualified Senior Civil Engineer with project management and design experience to work with an existing multi-disciplinary team in their Brisbane, Queensland office.
Reporting to the Infrastructure Services Lead, you will be responsible for:
Design of civil works associated with infrastructure projects including process plant sites, mine sites, accommodation facilities, tailings disposals, roads and drainage structures
Direction and management of junior civil engineers and CAD designers
Project engineering and project management of civil infrastructure design packages
Providing civil engineering technical support to Infrastructure, Energy and Metals projects
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA:
Degree qualified civil engineer with significant experience in design engineering on civil projects in the heavy industrial/resources sector. Relevant project management and construction experience will be well regarded
Strong technical skills in civil engineering with particular experience in earthworks, roadworks and drainage design
