Mechanical Building Services Engineer- Relocate To Australia Expenses

What experience/background am I required to have to be eligible to apply?
Generally you have to have a minimum of 5 years experience within the Building Services industry and a relevant university degree

What sort of costs are involved in moving?
Depending on your experience, majority of companies will cover the costs of your flights to Australia, make a contribution towards the relocation of your personal belongings and in some cases pay for accommodation for an initial period.

Generally a company will require you to be committed to moving within a 2-4 month time frame prior to considering your application. In most cases it's the sooner the better.

What sort of process can I expect?
Companies often have differing processes but as a guide, most will have an initial telephonic interview followed by either a face to face (they will cover the costs of flying you over) or a second telephonic interview. If both parties are happy they will then progress to an offer stage. Due to high demand for good engineers some times this process can happen fairly quickly - some times within a week.
