Our client, listed on the Main Board of the London Stock Exchange, is one of the largest gold mining companies in Central Asia, with three principal operating mines, and a further eight new properties acquired in 2005. Its primary objective is to become the leading low-cost gold producer in central Asia.


The company is currently in the process of upgrading and expanding all of their operations, as well as building three new plants, which will each treat in excess of 2Mtpa of tailings. They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Senior Process Engineer.


This position will be based in Stepnogorsk, Kazakhstan, and will be responsible for providing technical advice to the existing operations, as well as the new projects and upgrades being undertaken by the company.


The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:


* A degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
* Significant experience in gold processing plants.
* Exposure to CIL, heap leach, gravity and flotation operations.
* Operations and project experience, including equipment sizing and design.


This is a senior role within the company, and an attractive salary will be offered to the successful candidate.
