Senior Exploration Geologist - PNG

Our client, one of the world’s largest gold mining company, requires a Senior Exploration Geologist for their operations in PNG. The primary purpose of this position will be to conduct exploration activities and assist in generating quality projects.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

* Reporting and executing exploration activities
* Supervision and training of PNG Exploration Geologists
* Participation in a technical capacity

Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science (Geology), preferably with honours or higher
* Minimum 10 Years relevant experience
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, community and environment
* Good communication and leadership skills
* Understanding and recognition of mineralisation models and geological processes
* Understanding of economic parameters of mining operations
* Integration skills of multi-disciplinary datasets

This position is offered on a FIFO or residential basis, a competitive salary is on offer to the successful candidate.
