Our client is a results-focused provider of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to the mining, minerals processing and energy industries.

They are seeking to employ an outstanding Brisbane based Electrical Designer to work with their key client on a high profile suit of studies and projects. On offer is a 2 year ongoing contract, with top rates of pay and a structured retention bonus from its client.

This key role will be responsible for all aspects of design and electrical engineering services on this flagship study, and will suit Electrical Designers with greater than 5 years proven design experience in large scale mining materials handling, preferably having worked on iron ore, coal, base metals or alumina projects.

To be successful for this position you will have:

* A Certificate or Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering coupled with a minimum of 5 years experience in engineering design or the specification of mining materials handling systems
* Experience with AutoCAD and Microstation
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to impart your knowledge and experience to others are essential
