Our client is a leading Global Engineering Consulting company involved in providing a full range of technology-driven, value adding solutions and services to clients in the mining, minerals, metallurgical, manufacturing, infrastructure, transportation and energy sectors worldwide.

Due to phenomenal growth they are are currently seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to work within the Structural team in Townsville.

Townsville, Located in North Queensland's, is a diverse region that encompasses beautiful coastal towns, rainforests,The Great Barrier Reef, and country terrain which combines the lure of the tropics with the attractions of a major City. Boasting population of over 150 000 the rapidly expanding City is a platform for a plethora of mining project for the region.

Job Description:
Specifically this will involve:

Working to ensure a safe and robust infrastructure at the Client s facility.
Delivery of timely and efficient civil and structural solutions to the client.
Supervision of structural design teams, sub-consultants and contractors.
Acting as Responsible Engineer on nominated projects
Assisting with scope development, engineering estimates and capital cost estimates
Structural inspections of existing facilities.
Engineering design of new structures and their components.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Degree Qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering
Minimum of 5 + experience
Sound knowledge of Australian Design Codes
Strong customer focus
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multi discipline project teams
Well developed communication and interpersonal skills
Experience within industrial brown field environments
