Our client is Australia's largest manufacturer and distributor of bulk material conveyor systems, they have pioneered the development and application of belt conveyors for bulk material handling for decades.

Due to continued growth they are currently seeking to appoint a Planner Estimator for their Mackay Based Operation.

Working as part of the Project Team and having exposure across all areas of this diverse operation this position will see the successful applicant playing a key role in the success and future development of this company.

Duties will include estimating based off strip reports while working on multiple projects in the $100k to $200k range. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be the clients point of contact as well as following through with the coordination and planning of site based activities.

To be successful in this position you will ideally hold Mechanical Fitting Trade Qualifications or have a mechanical background, be computer literate and have previous experience within a planning or estimation environment.

A competitive package is on offer for the successful applicant that will include benefits such as overtime paid at penalty rates and a family friendly Monday to Friday roster.
