About our client
Our client is a leading provider of professional services to the energy, resources and complex processes industries. They have proven themselves to be a dynamic company whose success has resulted from outstanding project delivery for customers around the world. The Minerals and Metals division in the Perth office is currently undertaking a number of exciting projects within Western Australia and for this reason require the services of an experienced Senior Cost Engineer.

About the position
The Senior Cost Engineer will be the main point of contact for all project based cost control, producing cost and schedule trends and maintaining the trend register. Additionally the Cost Engineer will have the responsibility of monitoring and forecasting project costs through the application of the established project cost management procedures and systems. As this position is a senior role, the Senior Cost Engineer will need to be able to interface with senior management and to produce cost reports as required.

The successful candidate
You will possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline as well as have at least 5 years Cost Engineering experience working in a large project driven environment in the mining industry. You will have the ability to work autonomously and have excellent communication skills.
