Summary Description of Duties: 1.To develop and implement business practices within maintenance that align with the organization’s overall strategy a.Implements processes, policies, systems, and practices within maintenance that contribute to effectively managing the maintenance function b.Acts as a change agent and project sponsor for key initiatives; models organizational values, sets the cultural tone, and prioritizes business goals c.Collaborates with senior management to identify and analyze business requirements and the implications for the team; identifies gaps and implements agreed upon solutions d.Identifies key performance measures for the team; monitors and reports on the achievement of targets and revises strategies as needed e.Oversees all non-destructive testing on site and testing done by contractors f.Ensures that proper maintenance schedules are designed and implemented to ensure proper maintenance of company assets g.Coordinates multiple technology condition monitoring and corrective actions h.Fills in for technicians during their absence i.Writes and maintains quality control procedures for rebuild and / or purchase j.Maintains written documentation needed for regulatory requirements and company policies 2.To lead and manage a team responsible for executing electrical maintenance strategy a.Supervise electricians b.Identifies strategies and key performance goals and acts as an advisor to direct reports; works to overcome challenges and barriers and minimize risk c.Sets performance targets and measures, monitors and manages overall performance of the team and direct reports d.Builds the capabilities of the team to enhance their ability to achieve financial and operating strategy; hires appropriately, leverages the talents of the team, and takes corrective action where necessary
Qualifications: High-school graduation Washington State Electrical License Additional specialized education of up to 2 years Formal professional or technical registration in appropriate area of expertise More than 5 years of related work experience
