About our client:
Our client is a results-focused consultancy providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to the mining, minerals and energy resource sectors. The Rail division in the Perth office is currently undertaking a number of projects with some of Western Australia s major mining and resources clients. Due to the quick progression on projects they currently have requirements for a Quality Engineer.

About the position:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for controlling and coordinating activities to ensure that assigned projects are completed to the client's satisfaction and meet quality, time and profit objectives.

Additionally your duties will include construction inspection, planning and documentation turnover as well as monitoring contractors, and the review of quality/construction documentation.

The successful candidate:
You will be degree in Civil Engineering with strong understanding of engineering processes, quality and project execution. You will possess the ability to liaise between subcontractors and client to ensure the project follows relevant Quality process and procedures as well as the facilitation of continuous improvement in order to achieve best practice.
