Our client is a young and dynamic company which provides project management and engineering services to the resource and infrastructure industries. Their clients include major Australian resource companies. An excellent opportunity exists for enthusiastic and experienced Mechanical and Civil Senior Project Engineers to join their team. You will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for the following functions:

Mining and materials handling package engineering
Development of scopes and specifications for tender documentation
Contract management support
Budget estimating support and input into estimating
Construction management support
Design of bulk materials handling systems (Mech) or earthworks & drainage (Civil)
Design of crushing and screening systems (Mech) or roads & structures (Civil)
Design and specification of supporting infrastructure
Technical support for the procurement and contracting process
Previous experience in a Mechanical or Civil Engineering role of 5 – 10 years within the Mining and Construction Industry is essential. Other prerequisites for the role include:

Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Civil)
Previous Project Engineering experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise
Strong attention to detail and a proactive and ‘can do’ work approach
The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Previous site experience and commercial exposure would be an advantage
