This client is one of the largest multi-service organisations in the world with more than 50,000 employees globally. As a service business, they provide clients with a high level of expertise in engineering, construction, operations, maintenance and infrastructure management. Having won a substantial contract for the maintenance and upgrade of a heavy industrial plant, a requirement has arisen for a planner to join their on-site team.

The suitable candidate will have extensive experience in maintenance and/or shutdown planning in a heavy industrial plant environment. A capacity to work on the coalface of operations and react and adjust accordingly to the changing demands will be vital to the role. Responsibilities include devising plans and strategies for maintenance activities and future shut downs, as well as estimate costs and man-hours for planned projects. The ability to converse with engineering and trades teams, and a thorough understanding of the planning process is a must.
