Hill McGlynn, a Randstad company, are currently recruiting for the position of WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER for a leading engineering consultancy in the North Queensland region. Currently this leading organisation is still blooming in the region and as such require someone of experience for this highly pivotal role.

The Position

This is a fantastic opportunity for a WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER (HIGH LEVEL / SENIOR) with flood modeling experience to join this leading engineering consultancy based in Townsville. You will be pivotal in the completion of a variety of water resource and infrastructure projects integral to the continued growth of the region. To be considered for this highly regarded role you will require:

Degree qualified in Civil / Environmental fields;Exceptional project management and technical skills with substantial experience principally in water resource design for local authority, private and mining sector;Strong communication and client management skills;A number of years experience in water resource investigations and design;Experience specifically in surface water assessment and water sensitive urban design and water management planning for the mining industry and public utilities;A working knowledge of flood modeling packages including RAFTS, RORB, MIKE suite, HEC RAS;
