LEADING ENGINEERING CONSULTANCY

IMMEDIATE START

Our client is a results-focussed consultancy providing Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to the mining, minerals and energy resource sectors. They have an extensive track record with some of the worlds largest resource companies in the successful delivery of major resource development projects and as a result of project demands require the services of a Civil Engineer.

Responsibilities of the successful candidate will include but not be limited to:

- Ensuring all civil engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Preparing preliminary and detailed designs, specifications and documentation for all civil engineering project work ensuring project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope works.
- Ensuring civil engineering project work is completed on time and within budget
- Liaising with other department engineers and draftsperson to ensure project goals are met
- Assisting with the preparation of civil engineering budget.

Candidates interested in applying will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, possess Hydrology and drainage experience, 3-5 years experience in a project engineering office designing civil works ideally on mining/mineral processing projects, and demonstrated commercial acumen in the engineering and construction environment. The successful candidate will also possess strong communication, negotiation, time management and prioritising skills.
