Job Duties:
This position will provide support to senior consultants in a wide variety of assignments, including:
Mine Design
Financial Analysis
Due Diligence
Mine Planning
Technical Writing
Cost Estimation
Operational Reviews
Education Required:
Bachelors Degree in Mining, Civil or Geological Engineering
Experience Required:
Minimum of two years post university experience in surface or underground coal mining.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and SurvCADD preferred.
Special Requirements:
Demonstrate knowledge of work processes involved in mining operations.
Demonstrate ability to utilize computer aided mine design software to perform mine design and planning activities.
Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
Location of Employment: Charleston, West Virginia and remote field locations including mining sites within and outside the United States. Candidate must be willing to work in remote field locations for extended periods.
