The incumbent will have full management control of the Engineering Department and its recourses, and will be responsible for Plant and machinery performance, Maintenance and efficiencies, Developing a preventative maintenance program, Project management,Overseeing the installation of new equipment, Ensuring mine safety in line with legislation.
Salary R600k
Advantageous highly analytical, excellent communicator with a pro-active approach to problem solving.

Computer Packages
Experience + 5 years managerial experience as well as an extensive related technical experience within a mining environment, working with a range of large capacity, automated and heavy earth moving machinery.
Qualifications B.Sc/B.Tech Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering + Governmemt Certificate is a must.
