My client is seeking to appoint a Principal Permanent Way Design Engineer to join their p way team. This is a key role and the successful candidate will assist the Unit Manager to identify and develop business opportunities and help to develop the p way team. A key element of the role will be to provide Permanent Way support in respect of projects arising in the NSW area. The postholder will undertake the role of lead Permanent Way engineer on a variety of railway projects.
About You
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
Relevant Degree in B Sc/B Eng/ M Eng with Honours in an engineering subject or similarChartered Engineer and/or Member of relevant Professional InstitutionSignificant experience of infrastructure projects in railway sectorExperience in managing teams, whether internal or client teamsAble to interface up to Senior Management level
