About the Job
Geotechnical Engineer - Work for a mid tier gold miner at a family friendly / residential operation with big development plans where you will have plenty of opportunity to make a name for yourself as a Geotechnical Engineer.
Multi pit operation with developing underground
Run Geotechnical Engineering dept. with backup from mining manager and strong technical team.
Help establish Geotechnical systems, procedures and a ground control management plan for new UG.
Have a real say in the development strategy at this site.
Geotechnical input into optimization and continual improvement projects.
The usual Geotechnical analysis and stress modelling, ground support designs, mine sequencing recommendations, slope design, stability monitoring and backfill design.
Medium sized miner and growing, determined to keep a small-company culture with a quick informed decision making process.
Open door management policy
Genuinely a nice place to work.
Bring an appropriate degree and Geotechnical Engineering experience ideally in both UG and OP environments.
