Tender phase is that period in a Project’s life cycle whereby the client has been granted the go-ahead by government authorities – it is that time whereby contractors and consultancies vie for the right to provide a service of either construction or advisory services to the client.

A Tender team is not always successful – often there are many competitors vying for the award of that project, and variables such as technical knowledge, client interface, design, budgetary and time factors can dramatically influence the outcome for the better…or worse.

Successful tender staff can sometimes perform a thankless job…if they are working for companies other than our clients!

An example of some of the exceptional roles we have on offer to the most suitable candidates:

Proposal Managers/Bid Team Leaders X 2

Reporting to the General Manager – responsibilities include management of engineers, consultants and designers, time and resource planning, business development, addressing constructability issues, feasibility and risk management and commercial management. Tertiary qualifications in Construction/Mechanical Engineering essential.

Business Development Manager X 2

Required ASAP – Source and maintain new business opportunities within either the Civil Construction, Building or Mining industries. Responsibilities include managing a team, increasing company market share, business planning and client liaison. Tertiary qualifications in construction/mechanical engineering and/or quantity surveying essential.

Design Engineers

Reporting to the Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for assessing scope of works, determining constructability, establishing relationships with suppliers, internal and external stakeholders, support to the Bid Manager where required.

Design Coordinators and Managers

Reporting to the Proposals Manager, responsibilities include liaising with design consultants and engineers to determine best possible method of construction, management of the design process throughout the entirety of the Tender, documentation of all design and providing a cost effective design solution to the clients and the contractors/consultancies satisfaction.
