The Company

Randstad Construction, property and Engineering is currently seeking EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST for a LEAD CIVIL ENGINEER for the Townsville region. With the backing of an international consultancy this is the ideal opportunity for a local candidate to really stamp his / her mark on the continued development of the North Queensland region.

The Position

Based in Townsville the position of LEAD CIVIL ENGINEER will be a hugely pivotal role. Looking to re- establish themselves in the North Queensland region the client is looking for suitably experienced people to build their business options in the region, build and manage their own civil team and continue to develop the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to basically run their own business with the backing of an international group and as such local knowledge and experience in the Townsville region is essential to be able to develop the business locally. This is an ideal opportunity to cement your career and your standing in the industry. The potential rewards are fantastic for the successful person. To be considered for this role you will require:

Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering;

Previous experience across a broad range of civil related projects: Main Roads, drainage, earthworks and sub divisions;Experience and knowledge of working in the Townsville / Queensland region (for the benefit of business development and networking);Experience in business development;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;The ability to build, lead and mentor a team of civil engineers
