FIFO 9:5 Large geology team $90K - $115K + Super

One of our key mining clients has a new opportunity for a Mine Geologist to work within their underground geology department. The company has an outstanding reputation for the development and retention of staff within their technical services area and this role will benefit from their proven training & mentoring capabilities.

The position will work closely with a Senior Underground Geologist and will cover a range of duties associated with the daily underground production activities. You will be required to supervise geological technicians, underground production teams and work closely with the resource development group. Your specific areas of responsibility will cover the following:

Ensure all daily production duties are completed in a safe and efficient manner Production of resource wireframes and orebody interpretations (Vulcan) Assist with reconciliation of reserve estimates, mining and milling figures. Stockpile management Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports The position will require previous experience in an underground mining environment and strong computer skills. You will also be required to offer the following:

Tertiary Qualifications in Geology Strong hands-on production experience Previous experience with wireframing and end of month reporting Strong team focus, including excellent communication skills The position is offered on a FIFO basis (from Perth) and a salary in the range of $90K - $115K + Super will be negotiated based on the experience offered.
